In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The table has a lot of character and the natural colour and grain of the wood has been lightly waxed and polished to preserve its aged patina. There has been an old patch put into the top at some point and there are various signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. There used to be a small drawer at one end which has been removed and the gap filled at some point. It is a solid and sturdy piece and displays beautifully.
