Antique Regency Mahogany Inlaid Chest of Drawers

19th century
Description

A beautiful Regency mahogany chest of drawers dating from the early 19th Century, set on bracket feet. Each drawers front has a delicate geometric inalid border and it has all original turned wood handles.

It is excellent quality, very well made and in good original condition with a rich patina. There is a small split to the top surface and a split down one side which has been filled and repaired. One key escutcheon has been changed and there are a few chips and knocks around the base and feet but nothing major. The drawers run well and it a clean sturdy set that displays beautifully.
