A superb, art deco solid silver 3-piece Bachelor''s Tea Set, comprising Tea Pot, Milk Jug and Sugar Bowl. Of circular form, with classical styling, the set is beautifully designed. Each piece has a elegant band around the centre and stands on a single foot. The handles on the Milk Jug and Sugar Bowl are particularly attractive and the Tea Pot has a wonderfully designed natural walnut handle, which feels lovely and tactile and is a great shape to hold in the hand. The spout is elegantly proportioned and there is a lovely circular walnut and silver finial to the top of the teapot lid for lifting. Hallmarks are visible on all the three pieces (they are slightly rubbed on the Teapot, however, still distinguishable) for the London Assay Office with a date mark for 1922 and silver makers mark for Charles Boyton & Son Ltd.
