Description

An oak case barograph, the glazing bars holding bevelled plates. The lift off lid housing the gilt brass mechanism, with eight bellows, and an eight day movement driving the drum. Complete with ink bottle and holder. The mechanism on an oak plinth, above the frieze drawer mounted with a turned knob, the drawer mounted with a turned knob, the drawer containing recording papers. The whole resting on compressed outward swept bracket feet. The mechanism engraved for "Ross III, New Bond Street, London."
