An Excellent Edwardian Silver Bladed Letter Opener

1900 - 1920
Description

A handsome silver letter opener dating from 1909. This quality piece has a hallmarked silver blade with delightful mother of pearl handle. The handle is inlaid with bands of silver in the 18th Century taste and finished with an acanthus terminus. This example of handle is particular to the Sheffield area and therefore is a great collectors piece and good usable item. Dimensions below.
