In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
They are very well made and in good original condition with a lovely warm patina. The drawers are lined with old paper which has torn and stained in places but generally the drawers are clean and tidy and open well. There are the usual minor signs of wear and use and some marks on the top surface and some small chips on the corners but nothing detrimental. The mahogany has faded somewhat over the years, leaving the drawer fronts and top lighter than the sides but it still displays beautifully.
