A truly delightful, small and rare early 19th century Regency period drop-dial WALL CLOCK in superb original condition and in perfect working order.

The case is of solid mahogany, inlaid with brass and ebony decoration and stringing, with the most elegant moulding to the slender solid mahogany dial surround and a glazed door to the chisel-shaped trunk.

The 8-day fusee movement, with its shaped plates and original pendulum, features an 8-inch convex painted dial and convex glass within the finely cast brass bezel. A really charming Regency Wall Clock of small size! 16ins high overall; the dial 8ins diameter.
