A Burr Walnut Victorian Period Breakfront Wardrobe

19th century
Description

A burr walnut Victorian Period breakfront wardrobe. Having a moulded cornice of breakfront outline above a central mirrored door, which opens to reveal four mahogany lined sliding trays and three rectangular mahogany lined drawers with recessed brass handles. The ends have beautifully figured burr walnut panelled doors which open to reveal brass hanging rails and further mahogany hooks. The right hand side also having a bonnet/boot compartment. The ends in figured walnut and supported on a burr walnut veneered plinth. England circa 1860-1870

Dimensions: 84" high x 24" deep x 92" wide

Condition: This wardrobe is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed
