Cased Edwardian Silver Quaich 1905

1900 - 1920
Description

Made by Reid & Sons, Goldsmiths & Jewelers to the Queen, in 1905, this superb ANTIQUE SILVER QUAICH comes in a velvet and silk lined case and complete with a matching Silver Spoon.

The Silver Quaich has a delightful repousse tapered lower section to the body and has two beautiful applied pierced foliate design handles. The spoon is has a pierced scroll terminal.

This is a real quality antique made by a well-known and respected silversmith with no added engravings etc., and is in excellent condition despite being over 110 years old.

Condition:

Used / Excellent

There is no damage and no repairs.

Some minor wear to the bowl and one or two small dinks – nothing much but mentioned for accuracy.

Dimensions:

Diameter – 4.0” (100mm) / Width – 7.0” (175mm) / Height – 2.25” (56mm)

Weight – 170gm / 5.45ozt

Spoon – Length – 6.5” (163mm) / Weight – 31gm / 1.0ozt
