Agate Set Silver & Cut Glass Pot Birmingham 1906

A very attractive silver topped cut glass jar.Unusually, the silver top is adorned with a beautiful agate set thistle in red and green. The side of the top bears the very clear hallmarks for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1906 by the renowned silvermaker''s Adie & Lovekin Ltd. The underneath of the top is a lovely golden gilt. The cut glass base is a neat hob nail design with a star in the centre of base.
 
A very lovely and collectable pot, rare and in great antique condition.
