A stunning Chinoiserie black lacquer ground display cabinet with raised, painted and gilded decoration. The shaped top section having 2 glazed doors with gilded astragal glazing bars and decorated with Chinese characters between further gold gilding The interior with 2 plate glass and 1 wooden shelf. The lower section with good Chinoiserie decoration on 2 panelled doors which open to a useful storage area. The whole raised on a shaped and carved frieze with Queen Anne style legs, pad feet with carved and gilded shells to the knees. Condition - Very good with working locks and key.
