19th Century French Vineyard Wine Table From Chateau Nantes-Graves d’Arthus

This is an old wooden painted table, is painted with the coat of Arms of the Chateau Nantes-Graves d’Arthus, St Emillion and would have been used in the Chateau as a serving table for formal wine tastings etc.

The painted finish is in very good condition, I understand that armorial items like these were kept looking good by regular repainting, a very rare and interesting piece from the Bordeaux region

The table can be shown to its best advantage tipped up or laid flat to be used as a wine table, the table frame is made in Oak

The table is 44” tall, when tipped up 40” in diameter and 26” high when laid flat
