Description

Circa 1920-1940 A pair of gilded brass double arm candle holders with large faceted glass drops.

They measure approximately 45cm in height; 30cm across at the widest part and have 13cm in diameter bases.

The central brass columns have faceted glass shapes between the three layers of drops. One of these shapes has some damage at the very top and this is covered and protected by the fitting supporting the curved arms holding the large drops.

Everything is original including the drops, some of which vary very slightly in shape and we have replaced some of the brass fittings to ensure they stay in position.

It may be possible to convert them into lamps by a good electrician and it may once have been done many years ago - see photos 6 and 7.
