Large Bronze Door Knocker

Description

This late Victorian - early 20th Century heavy bronze door knocker is in very good condition, and is one of the nicest we've had in stock for a long time.

It measures approximately 20cm in length and 14.5cm at the widest point and is very heavy, weighing about 1.3kgs.

In the last photo showing the back of the door knocker, the word ENGLAND can just be seen at the very bottom and possibly a faded maker's mark. There are two large original screws for easy attachment to a door.

We suggest using clear bees wax polish on the item to smooth out the dust marks and few bits of old paint, and we will do this before it goes out.

Postage and packing within the UK mainland only is included in the price and for remote parts of the UK or abroad, please contact us for a quote for delivery.
