Description

Antique French Kingwood display cabinet with some exquisite floral marquetry on the bottom panels & some fine satinwood inlays. The front glass door is serpentine shaped & the sides are bowed glass. It has gilt bronze mounts & feet. This cabinet is in good condition, with one or two minor markings within the polish, but nothing that makes it worth re-polishing. The inside is still lined with the original velvet fabric & the edge of the shelves are kingwood or tulip wood with inlay. The top is polished mahogany with a kingwood or tulip wood front edge. This cabinet is very good quality & of small proportions. I would date it to around the 1930’s period.
