Absolutely stunning marble figure of a child gathering fish on a foreshore. A beautiful study of innocence, as the child clutches fish in its robe, as another tries to escape. This 19ct sculptured marble figure is absolutely perfect and whilst immediately commanding attention, creates a feeling of amusement, as one can imagine the little escapee wriggling away.
