An attractive mahogany parlour, or display , cabinet from the late Victorian period. Very well made in solid mahogany and decorated throughout with crisply carved detailing. Further embellished with brass mounts and galleries. Of large proportions, this is a truely impressive cabinet. The central mirror is surmounted by an elaborate open fretwork canopy which is supported on turned columns. The canopy is a master piece of cabinet making. Underneath the mirror are located two long drawers. These are flanked by a pair of display cabinets each of which sits over a short drawer. All standing on carved cabriole legs. Offered for sale in very good original condition. Splits into two sections for ease of installation.
