A superb 19th. Century mahogany console or serving table from the renown workshops of Gillows of London and Lancaster. The top of bow fronted form and lifts to form an upstand / splash back on good quality brass hinges. The frieze concealing 2 mahogany lined drawers with fluted carved detail, the centre decorated with harebell swags, tied ribbons and oval patrae with turned pulls. The ends and sides with further patrae and the whole raised on turned and tapering legs with fluted and acanthus detail and joined with a shaped under shelf.
