Good English 8-Day Fusee Wall Clock

Description

A particularly fine quality mid/late 19th century WALL CLOCK by Barnsdale of London. The mahogany case of good warm colour, houses the eight-day chain-driven fusee movement, with its original pendulum, whilst the enamel dial and cast brass bezel are totally original, as are the blued steel "spade" hands. 14.5ins (36.5cms) diameter (the dial 12ins).

***William Barnsdale is recorded working in Brunswick Place, Off City Road, London from circa 1870-1900.
