Pair of Marble Top Bedside Cabinets C.1890.

Description

Fine pair of late 19th.c. marble top bedside cabinets c.1890. Original white marble tops with a thumb moulded edge over a small drawer and cupboard with shelf. A true pair with left and right hand opening doors. Pale ash veneers with particularly good grain and inlaid mahogany borders. Original gilded ormolu handles and mounts to the top corners. Bird’s eye maple veneers inside the doors. Raised on turned beech legs with further ormolu detail to the front feet. Oak drawer linings. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
