Antique Silver Inkwell and Stand 1919

A superb SOLID STERLING SILVER INKWELL AND TRAY made by Josiah Williams & Co in 1919.

This fabulous ANTIQUE SILVER INKWELL has a cut glass ink-pot on a Solid Silver Tray supported on four ball feet. The tray has an applied raised reeded border and a raised central panel into which the ink-pot fits.

To each end of the tray are two scroll shaped handles with an applied leaf decoration. The ink pot has a sterling silver hallmarked lid (matching the tray hallmarks) and the glass has a striped decoration to the top.

This superb George V Solid Silver Inkwell has no added engravings, monograms or initials, is in excellent condition and would look fabulous on any desk or would enhance any silver collection.
