Antique silver Waltham pocket watch.

The watch has a key-wound movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 15247804 dates it back to 1906. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 55mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case backs for Birmingham 1885 together with a case maker's mark for Alfred Bedford, the manager of Waltham UK. There is a discrepancy in dates, and signs that the movement has been replaced at some time in its life. The case is nice condition with only the odd mild bruise to the back.

The watch glass is in good condition.

The signed dial has a faint hairline crack between 3 & 4 o'clock but barely visible to the naked eye. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
