Description

Large well shaped antique French walnut coffee table with a marble top surrounded by a pierced gilt bronze gallery. It’s in good original condition & I would date it to around the 1910-20’s period. This table has some lovely features. There are two drawers, back & front, two brushing slides either end with tooled leather inserts & the turned tapered legs are fluted in the middle. This delightful coffee table has lots of character. The gilt gallery does show a bit of natural ageing on the surface, but I wouldn’t want to clean it up, because it would spoil the original look.
