1920 - 1940
Description

Antique deep buttoned leather & mahogany desk armchair in good original condition, dating to around the 1930's period. It has a great overall shape, so is comfortable & very practicable for use in front of a desk. I particularly like the way the front edge protrudes further than the arms & the way it dips down in the middle. The leather has loads of character, with natural colour distressing & no damage. It's also hand tacked all over. The frame is all solid mahogany, with turned spindles & turned front legs.

Depth – 25 inches, 64 cm

Height – 34 inches, 86 cm

Arm height – 28 inches, 70 cm

Seat height – 18 inches, 46 cm
