Mahogany Open Library Bookcase C.1830.

Description

Handsome early 19th.c. mahogany library bookcase c.1830. Open bookcase top with six half width shelves (depth 12") which can be arranged as required on the grooved sides. Over a base with two cupboards, fitted with a single shelf to each, and a small leather-top slide in the waist. Simple moulded cornice, reeded uprights and shelf fronts, raised mouldings to the door panels and turned bun feet. Great colour with particularly well figured timbers to the sides. Excellent condition, with some earlier repairs and restorations, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
