Description

A beautifully carved mahogany Edwardian Period double bed in the French taste. The head board having a fine ribbon and swag carved crest and acanthus carved detail to the frame, having a central oval caned panel, turned acorn finials and trailing vine carving to the reeded columns. The foot board again having fine acanthus carving, turned finials and carving to the fluted columns. The side rails with guilloche carving and supported on acanthus carved claw and ball feet. English circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 60" wide x 84" long x 53" high

Condition: This bed is in excellent original condition, a wonderful colour and patination.
