Gents boxed 9ct gold Garrard automatic wrist watch, 1968.

The watch has a good quality 25-jewel automatic movement, an ETA 2472, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 35mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the screw-on case back for London 1968. The case is in good condition just a few minor surface scratches to the back, nothing too detrimental at all. The back of the watch has a 1968 long service inscription from the BOC, the BOC Group is the UK & Ireland's largest provider of industrial, welding and specialist gases.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in super original condition with original hands, centre seconds and an early form of quickset date where the hands are moved backwards and forwards repeatedly between 12 midnight and 8.30pm until the desired date is reached.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in the original Garrard presentation box with the BOC logo to the top.
