Antique 19TH Century French Walnut Double Bed and dating from around 1890. Constructed from quality walnut . The headboard it has a moulded and shaped top with carved cartouche to the centre above a carved deep frieze and walnut parquetry panel. It has reeded sides with carved patera and turned finials to the top post. The footboard with shaped top rail above a deep carved frieze with walnut parquetry panel and with reeded sides and carved patera with turned finial to the top posts. It has its original walnut screw in side rails and a new slatted base. It stands on turned feet on castors.

Takes a standard double mattress 54” x 72”
