Pair of Antique Leather Wing Back Armchairs

1900 - 1920
Description

Large comfortable pair of antique leather wing armchairs with deep buttoned backs & loose cushion seats. They are a lovely naturally distressed colour & show plenty of character with plenty of shading. The inside of the arms have leather covered tacks & there are plenty of hand tacks all over the frames. These armchairs have extended hump backs, scroll over arms & sit on carved mahogany feet. The leather is original & in very good condition with no splits, tears or holes. I would date these armchairs to around the 1910-20’s period.

Height – 43 inches, 109 cm

Seat height – 17 inches, 43 cm
