Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The silver is affixed to an English Oak backing with a folding easel back stand. The original thick bevelled glass remains intact.

The silver is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1900, late Victorian in era. The makers initials are also present for the well renowned silversmith, Henry Matthews.
Excellent condition measuring 11" tall x 8 1/4" wide with the glazed aperture measures 7" x 5".
