Description

A Liverpool pottery, pearlware tea caddy and cover, c. 1790. The arched caddy, painted in underglaze blue, with sprays of flowers, beneath a band of moulded acanthus leaf, to both sides. The domed cover similarly painted, and having a tear drop finial.

Covered in a pearlware glaze.

Height - 14.5 cm, 5 3/4”.

Width - 7 cm, 2 3/4”.

Depth - 5.3 cm, 2 1/8”.

Condition - Small chip to rim of cover - please see image for detail. Otherwise perfect. No restoration.
