Large decorative 19th century French oil on canvas of a active port at dusk, The painting is signed and mounted in a quality wooden moulded frame and slip. The artist - J Clauzel - has used a muted palette giving the painting a slightly Turneresque quality to it.

The canvas has been re-lined and there is a slight ripple in a small area which is barely noticeable and does not show on the photos.
