Description

A decorative 18th century French sideboard of superb colour and patination constructed from chestnut. The cupboard comprises of two drawers over two cupboard doors, the doors open to reveal a single shelf. The cupboard is decorated with inlays of box wood and bog oak and has finely carved foliage and boarders surrounded by brass studs.

All locks have large ornate wrought iron lock plates, there are two working locks in the drawers with a key. The cupboard doors have a working lock and key along with a shoot bolt.

The sideboard has a lovely polished finish and is in excellent condition.
