Burr Walnut Serpentine Desk

1900 - 1920
Description

A very pretty Writing Desk or Dressing Table (would suit either) made from Solid Walnut with excellent tight Burr Walnut. The front is serpentine in form and has 5 smoothly running drawers fitted with original brass handles. The top has a gallery around and there is a plate glass top if desired which is cut to the exact shape. She sits on Cabriole Queen Anne legs united by a stretcher. This piece is of excellent quality which can be seen by the fine dovetails in the drawer construction.

In excellent condition for the home having been re finished to a very high standard by ourselves.
