Pair of Large Antique Victorian Silver Sauce Boats 1897 Francis Higgins

Description

A fine pair of Victorian solid Sterling Silver sauce boats with elegant scrolling handles, standing on three hooved legs with scallop tops. They are stylish and superb quality and a good large size weighing approximately 295g each. Both pieces are engraved with an A initial.

They are both fully hallmarked for Francis Higgins, London, 1897 - a particularly fine maker of the time.

They are in excellent condition with a clear hallmark. There are no major damages and they display beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and a few light scratches and small dinks but nothing detrimental. They have been lightly cleaned and polished and are ready for use.

The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions please ask. Nationwide delivery £10.
