A superb silver Cloak Clasp. Iconic Arts & Crafts style, this is a beautiful item. The clasp is in the form of two daisy flowers and the centre of each is set with a lovely turquoise/blue Ruskin enamel stone. Both of the daisies are hallmarked on the back for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1904 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver. The silver maker''s mark is also very clearly visible for the renowned maker A.E.Jones

This very clasp can be seen in the A.E.Jones Catalogue circa 1905 with illustrations of this clasp and showing Ruskin Enamel applied to the silverwork!
