A stunning pair of 1920’s Art Deco bedside chests, the rectangular burr walnut shaped tops having walnut cross banding with amboyna inlaid ovals and circles., the backs with shallow up stands and rounded edges. The inlaid frieze concealing lockable secret drawers.The fronts having 3 graduated oak lined drawers with further cross banding and conforming amboyna inlay with good brass ring handles and working locks and keys. The sides with further walnut cross banding and the whole raised on burr walnut banded friezes with out swept legs and brass caps. Condition - very good with minor old repair to the top of the right hand chest. Dimensions:- Height (inc. upstand)…32.5’’/ 82.5cm. Width…15.25’’/ 39.5cm. Depth…20.5’’/ 52cm.
