Magnificent Antique English Inlaid Oak Serving Tray with Silver Plated Fittings C.1900

Description

A stunning Edwardian serving tray made from fine quality Oak appearing more like Mahogany with a rich reddish colour. The base is beautifully inlaid with a central shell motif and surrounding by a floral and foliate garland.

The fittings including the four original bun feet are all made from silver plate, a stunning combination against the wood.

Dating to c.1900/1910, it remains in excellent condition with minor wears commensurate with age.

The handles span 22" x 15 1/2" x 3" tall to top of handles.
