Walnut Credenza

Description

This superb quality 19th Century walnut and floral marquetry credenza of serpentine form, the wonderfully shaped top having ormolu moulding, the shaped frieze below the credenza has three shaped doors with very fine ormolu beading around the edges, opening to reveal a single fixed shelf at the centre and two fixed shelves either side, the front of the credenza having four columns and with each column having an ormolu figure head at the top and a floral ormolu mount at the bottom, sitting on a lovely shaped plinth , the size and quality makes this an important and unique piece of furniture and definitely the conversation of the room.
