Kembery Antique Clocks Ltd has dated this piece to the 1910s.
Francois Borgel was a pioneer in the design and manufacturing of early waterproof watch cases.
Longines and IWC were two companies who adopted the screw case design in its early stage. This example bears the name of JW Benson, London, who retailed Longines watches with their own name on. Borgel watches were expensive to purchase when produced and with a lume dial and Longines mechanism, retailed by a high quality jewellers such as Benson, this watch would have been a costly piece when new.
