Antique Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Wardrobe Compactum C1900

Antique Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Wardrobe Compactum and dating from around 1900. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a flared cornice top with carved moulding and a deep crossbanded and carved frieze with inlaid patera to the centre and scrolled supports to either side. This is above two panelled doors one of whochbhas a full length mirror and the other with two panels with inlaid stringing and with brass handles and working key. Internally and tomone side there are three sliding mahogany tray drawers over three short drawers all of which are mahogany lined with original brass handles. To the other side it is all hanging with a cloth lining. To the base there is a long deep drawer which is oak lined with brass handles and inlaid stringing and with an Inlaid patera to the centre. The whole standing on a deep plinth base and separates for ease of transporting.

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
