Hobson May Collection has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
This intricate work is repeated on all four sides of the casket. The box has a working Bramah lock and key. The interior is lined with the original green silk velvet and the three compartment inner tray lifts out to reveal a lower storage section. The condition of the jewellery box is excellent. A beautiful box of outstanding quality, the perfect gift for someone special or a luxurious self indulgence.
