This is an antique armchair dating to the late Victorian period c.1880.

A pleasing chair in beautifully aged mahogany with a contrasting darker splat raised on cabriole legs terminating in claw and ball feet.

The deep seat rail hosts a traditionally stuffed, drop-in seat pad finished in a floral tapestry in complimentary natural tones.

The shaped, out-swept arms offer a comfortable, broad seat with the pierced back splat rising into the serpentine crest rail displaying classic Chippendale influenced ears.

An attractive, robust and comfortable chair. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
