Small Burr Walnut Pier Cabinet C.1860.

Description

Attractive little mid 19th.c. burr walnut pier cabinet or bookcase display c.1860. Just 26" wide with a single glazed door cupboard fitted with two shelves. Beautifully figured burr walnut veneers across the top, front and sides. With fine inlaid marquetry detail above and to either side of the door and original ormolu mounts and moulding. Inlaid shelf fronts and original lining fabric (with a couple of repairs at the rear). Excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied.
