Large Antique Victorian Burr Walnut Chest of Drawers

Description

This piece is the Rolls Royce of Victorian chests of drawers. Dating from around the 1860-80’s period this large chest of drawers is extremely fine quality & very imposing. The top & sides are solid walnut, while the drawers, rounded corners & the plinth are burr walnut with stunning patterns. All the drawers are very deep & the bottom drawer is extra deep because it’s joined to the plinth. They all have locks, fine dovetails & turned bun handles. This chest is in excellent condition, free from splits & warps, with all the drawers working well & it also has a wonderful mellow colour.
