A 1940s Art Deco Orator Pocket Watch.

Description

A 1940s Art Deco Orator pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is stamped Orator, Swiss, 16 rubis and the calibre number 18.220.

The watch itself measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is stainless steel and has nicely stepped Art Deco sides. The case has light surface marking from use but overall it is in nice condition .

The acrylic lens is in good condition.

The silvered two tone dial is signed Orator, Swiss made. The dial is in its original finish and has light wear to the numerals on the chapter ring although it has a great Deco look.

The watch has its original blued steel pierced Art Deco hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
