Antique Silver 1919 Selezi Pocket Watch and Chain

1919 silver Selezi pocket watch from Dimier Frères & Cie with albert.

The watch has a Revue stem-winding movement which would have been bought in by Dimier Frères & Cie, to be subsequently sold under the brand name Selezi, registered by Dimier Frères in 1912. The movement is working nicely and it is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 52mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and is hallmarked inside the two case backs for Birmingham 1919, with a case maker's mark for the Dennison Watch Case Company, a prolific manufacturer of cases for various watch factories. The case is in good condition.

The acrylic lens is in good condition, as is the white enamel dial.

The watch comes with an unusual single albert with compass fob... the chain measures 31.5cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. The albert is marked as being silver on the clasp but there are no hallmarks as such, probably Continential 800 silver which was not hallmarked.

The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
