Description

This RARE VICTORIAN STAFFORDSHIRE BLACK AND WHITE DOG dates from circa 1850. He stands a magnificent 12 inches (30.5 cm) high.

He is beautifully modelled and painted in-the-round with very detailed feathering to the coat.

He has a long muzzle and a wide-eyed expression.

As can be seen from the photographs, the front paw has been reglued. There are two minor dings - one to the tail and one on the top of the muzzle. Other than that there is just some paint loss.

A rare creature.
