These are a fabulous set of eight Regency dining chairs( six singles and two carvers) having the more desirable stuff over seats all raised on tapered legs united by a h-stretcher to make them more stable and strong. The top rail brass string inlaid and mortised into the uprights; again a sign of quality with a delightful swept reeded supporting saddle. These chairs have been fully restored so all the joints are stable and polished to a rich colour. The chairs have been re-upholstered with traditional webbing. Excellent condition. The top seat covers sustained a few polish marks whilst being restored so could do with being changed.. Carvers measure 34"h x 23"w x 18"d.( seat height 19"). Single chairs 34"h x 19"w x 16"d
