The Louis XVI style rectangular ormolu four glass case with finely cast and gilded floral decoration surmounted with a quiver and wreath and applied scrolled ribbon work sides.
The white marble base in excellent condition with finely cast mounts standing on fine quality gilded feet.

The perfect condition circular enamel dial with Arabic numerals signed to the centre Le Marie Demouy Paris, 10 Rue de L'Universitie. Surrounded by a decorative bezel and convex glass.
Fine quality gilded pierced hands.

The fully restored high quality 8 day twin train spring driven French movement, striking the hours and half hour on a single bell, with brocot regulation. The movement signed G CH 3480 4 11.
The gilded starburst pendulum further stamped with the corresponding number to the movement (3480).

The original winding key and regulation adjustment key.
An elegant well proportioned clock in fine original condition with the movement fully restored.
